What we collect, and when

This website collects information only when you choose to submit one of its two forms. There is no account system, and nothing is collected from you simply by browsing.

Quotation request form

The quotation form collects the journey details you enter: pickup and destination, any additional stops, dates and times, return journey details, passenger numbers, luggage requirements, service level and vehicle preference, journey purpose, how you heard about WMC, any additional notes you write, and your contact details — name, organisation, email address, telephone number and preferred contact method.

Contact form

The contact form collects your name, email address, telephone number if you provide one, the enquiry type you select, and your message.

We ask for this information so WMC can understand the journey, prepare a quotation and reply to you. The lawful basis is your request: processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and in WMC's legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

How your form submission reaches WMC

This is a static website with no database and no server of its own. When you submit either form, your browser sends the form contents directly to Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, which emails the submission to WMC. Web3Forms therefore processes your submission in transit, and their own privacy terms apply to that step.

After that, your enquiry sits in WMC's email inbox like any other email. This website keeps no copy of it. How long WMC keeps enquiry emails, and how to ask for yours to be deleted, is a question for WMC directly using the contact details above.

If you choose WhatsApp as your preferred contact method, after your submission has been confirmed the site opens WhatsApp with a short summary of the journey ready to send — route, dates, times, passenger numbers, service level and vehicle preference. You choose whether to send it. That summary deliberately excludes your email address, your notes, your organisation and how you heard about WMC. Sending it puts the message into WhatsApp, and WhatsApp's own terms apply to it.

Address suggestions from Google

The pickup, destination and stop fields on the quotation form offer address suggestions. To do that, the text you type into those fields is sent to Google's Places service as you type, and Google returns matching places. Google receives that text, and your IP address, as part of the request; Google's own privacy policy applies to it.

This only happens on the quotation page, only in the address fields, and only once you have typed at least three characters. If Google is unavailable or blocked, the fields keep working as ordinary text boxes and you can type an address by hand.

Saving your progress

While you are filling in the quotation form, your answers are kept in your own browser's session storage so that moving between the three steps, or reloading the page by accident, does not lose your work. This stays on your device, is never sent anywhere by the website itself, and is deleted as soon as your request is submitted successfully or when you close the tab.

What we do not do

• No analytics or visitor tracking of any kind.
• No advertising, remarketing or profiling.
• No marketing emails; WMC replies to your enquiry, and nothing more.
• Your details are not sold, rented or shared for marketing.
• No cookies are set by this website — see the cookie policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what information WMC holds about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. Contact WMC using the details above to make a request.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If this website's handling of your information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
